Tomorrow I'm going to roast at work!
Only about 3/4 " so far West of Kellyville, but still raining. I am sooo thankful for anything and have thanked my maker more than once this morning....
Hopefully it's done for the day. Can't ever recall having windows open for 2 days straight in August!

It's the thunder and lightning I dread.
Sometime around 3:30-ish this morning,,,
I was happily asleep with my kittycat curled up in my armpit.
A very loud thunder-boomer went off and it frightened the bejezus out of her,,,
That wouldn't be so bad except that she "launched" herself off the bed,,,
Leaving a 3" gouge in my ribcage where she got traction.
Ouch!

Mesonet shows around 3.5" for us over last 3 days, but we got most of that Friday morning thru yesterday
Wish we could have gotten this much rain over the course of a week or two. We live just SE of Draper lake and it added close at least 4-5 inches of rain to my pool, luckily it was low after I vacuumed it to waste Friday. We lost power about 0730 and wife said we are still without it. This is the culvert on the edge of our yard, water is prob a good 3 ft deep.
