Yep! Or Oats. Both are great till you get your grass going next spring! When I built pond dams late in the year, I would sow in oats or rye on the dams to abide them over till spring.

Of you have good Bermuda on your place, start early in Spring and start plugging! It will take off!

Bermuda seed is so tiny, it wouldn’t retain its velocity past an inch or two from the muzzle

Green Sprangletop, wheat, rye, possibly some Sideoats or Blue gramma.
The Sideoats, Blue gramma and Green Sprangletop come up fast and grow. It’s not the ideal time for them but they’d probably work.

When we put in our range in Ponca, the fastest thing we could plant to help retain the berms was wheat.
As the dozers built the berms toward the end, we walked around the top with hand spreaders spreading the seeds. Wheat is a grass that easily germinates and has a pretty good root system to survive dry weather depending on the variety.
It worked. The following spring, we hand planted sprigs and spread some seed that may or may not have sprouted as the soil temps were probably not warm enough to germinate.
The sprigs did work though, spreading over the berms and the ground between.
