Yea, I'm with the different uses crowd.
Keep both if you can....DPMS...no problems with my LAR 308, Strikefire, with 45* flipups
I have other rifles....to Reach out....Good Luck

I built a 6.5 creemore recently off at a DPMS lower. I like it. However, the lower is very literally the only thing still DPMS about the gun.

Went ahead and traded the remmy for a dpms lr308, came out on top but either the previous owner or the person that worked on the gun was a bone head because they had the wrong buffer/spring assembly in the gun. Waiting on parts before I can shoot it I guess. Wont be as accurate as the remmy but I shoot steel not paper.
