Balance stud screws can go down to 0.1mm! I actually have everything I'd need to make my own screws, outside of a motor for my watchmaker's lathe and the skill. One of these days I'll fab up my own motor or find one of the correct type. All in good time though.

Great video! That's probably the best video I've seen of watchmaker's lathe in action.

I still don't understand all my feelings about these watch repair threads, but the pic of that screw gives me anxiety for sure.
