Making a similar to this knife?

So I've always really loved the CRKT S.P.E.W. knife that I have.... and I know we have a lot of custom knife makers on here. So I'm curious if anyone has ever attempted a similar blade profile in a larger size, and/or how much would something like this cost to make? This one is a 3" blade and 6" overall, so my curiosity would be towards maybe a 5" blade size. Are there any gotchas with the Wharncliffe blade profile with the strong diagonal taper on the top?

I saw a few modified Wharncliffes in 5”-7” range, but no straight up Wharncliffes over 4”. I dunno if there’s a technical reason or if nobody thinks there’s a market for them, but if push came to shove, I’d guess it’s ROI concerns.

I know we have a couple of custom knife makers here, like @mike miller and @Dan308 . I think @Johnny has also done some knifemaking.

I’ve only made something in a 4 inch model but it is only a matter of stretching it out. As far as price if interested I would have to check with my kydex guy for the cost.
You would end up with a 5 or 6 inch blade and a 4 1/2 handle to balance it out.
Cool information. Truth be told I have zero clue what knives go for these days. Most of mine are off the shelf rather than custom and I usually get them at somewhat remarkable pricing. Recently started looking into a few different areas of my collection on the chef side and that spidered out to this question because outside the smaller blades I just really don't recall seeing that profile in a large size.

This all came about because I got my hands on a Wusthof Deba knife a few years ago right before they became unobtanium and it's one of my favorites in the chef's box and I have no clue why they stopped making it.

On the other hands I have two Cold Steel Espada's and have no clue why they exist in reality even if they are buckets of fun.
