Making cordage from plastic bottles

Thats brilliant, just wish there was a close up showing the cutting action so we could see the inner workings of it.

I thought it might be the natural sharp edge from cutting the grooves at an angle, but it looks like he puts another thin piece of metal in there at one point, and that could have a sharpened edge on it.
