M1 Garand bolts are usually interchangeable without headspace issues. I only use a no go or field gauge to confirm. Sometimes WRA bolts can have headspace issues when swapping bolts, but as long as you strip the bolt & confirm with a field gauge, they are good to go. Haven't had a problem in 30 years of shooting M1’s.
