Relax Terry. It still stands for SHOOTERS. And it appears the the STONERS will soon not be SHOOTERS. Can’t go shooting if you don’t have any guns anymore you and you darn sure can’t go shooting from a cell. Which is where it is likely some dumbo-tards who think they can be above or ignore the law will soon be.

Now having said that, maybe we give it a little time and approach this in the correct way, by badgering our legislators, both state and federal, to make it legal to be a user of medical MJ and still enjoy our second amendment rights. Something along the same guidelines as alcohol restrictions and so on?

which of the 30 other states have begun confiscation of guns from mmj patients?

oklahoma's medical cannabis law prevents denial of an SDA card and seals records, so osbi doesnt have to worry about breaking federal law. (apparently the constitution and the 2nd amendment aren't federal law)

To the first question; I don’t know.

As far as the second statement; so if you check NO, (and the answer is really YES) then you have committed a Federal Felony by LYING on the form.

Catch -22? I dunno about the rest of youse guys but until somebody challenges this or the various judicial bodies straighten it out, I for one will just choose to NOT partake of MJ, medically or otherwise, so I don’t have to worry about being a BETA tester for this stuff. Heck, bro, I done did that by being one of the very first guys to rush out and buy a Glock 43 some little more than 3 years ago! I have done my BETA test duties for awhile. Now somebody else can be the TEST CASE for this one, please. Who’s it gonna be? Surely one off you guys who are so dead set on defending “your rights”! Hell, you already have more rights now with this new law than you had two days ago! Why don’t you put the joint down and take a chill pill (legal one)? Relax, this is not worth losing your SDA License or going to jail over. Or is it? I’m done worrying about it; imma pack my bag and go to the Range to shoot and work some stress off from this crap and all the tough talk. Maybe I’ll see you there...or maybe not!

But those people are legally using the drug; by federal law, MJ is still NOT LEGAL. That’s the difference. One class of drugs us legal and the other is not. I didn’t say it was right, or that it was different or anything else.

Quite so. Opiates and other drugs are controlled but they are still legal with a prescription. I have (and use) tylenol #3 when my arthritis or other pain gets too bad.

I have said it before and I'll say it again; MJ has a legitimate medical use and should be legal with a valid prescription for certain conditions. But under federal law, it isn't and 788 does not change that. The fact that the feds are not enforcing it is beside the point.

they'll have to change the law, then. the records are to be sealed to prevent such things.

You know, I agree with you. I mean, I wish they would. I really would like to see “them” change the law so those who legally use MMJ CAN have firearms and an SDA License. However, please keep in mind that “they” is our Legislators and “they” can’t even pass a simple budget. Gimme a break; IMO we need a whole new bunch of “them” before “they” can accomplish pretty much anything.

And then as to regulating MMJ, we have the already well known and poorly thought of State Health Department. LMAO! Do you really think “they” can handle the tricky solution to this readily seen conflict between the ridiculously poorly written 788 and existing Federal law prohibiting FIREARMS PURCHASES and MMJ?

I call BS on “them” doing much of anything, at least until there’s a whole new buncha butts in seats there on 23 and Lincoln.

Gary; man I’m real sorry but I just called my cousins brothers neighbor who is in his second semester of law school and he says you are a felonious old ne’er do well who is a criminal in the firstest degree and that you must turn heretofore and hench forth all your guns and munitions over to me as a designated moderator on OSA. So PMme and I will give you drop off instructions.

Hurry! Before they come and have hereupon duly arrested your dang self; forth with!

I plead the 5th, you know why? I have no legal obligation to incriminate myself, ever.

My rights won't be denied.

Welcome to reality.

This all the way. You don't get to know my medical history.
