i have some friends in california, a young married couple, sitting in jail cells, with something like 70 felony counts against them, over facebook jokes and memes. they're falsely accused of manufacturing, for sale, assault weapons...
their home was raided by half a dozen local, state, and federal agencies.
along with guns, parts, morale patches and hand tools, marijuana and edibles were confiscated.
none of the 70ish charges involve schedule 1 controlled substances.
