Medical - shooters hand?

Anyone else ever experience this: middle knuckle on strong side hand swollen and very painful where the finger joins the hand. I believe its related to support hand fingers squeezing the top of this finger too hard during recoil. Anyone have any advise?

The beginnings of arthritus, maybe?

A change of grip seems plausable, youre gripping too tight.

Maybe try the old fbi grip, with your hand on the botom, grip your lower fingers?

Agreed, Ol' Arthur is knocking at the door.

I deal with the same thing especially with the middle finger on my left hand but a tendon was torn on it when I was 13 as well.

I suffer from uncle Arthur and it has changed my use/carry some over the years.
I still have some revolvers I can use and have become more of a auto guy for daily.
My big bores are slowly going to the wayside.
I just can't take the pain from them banging on me.

Go to the doctor. Ask for a script for Volatren Gel. Apply over affected area. Wait 20 minutes before using.
