^^^Yes indeed.
Years ago, I saw one of those used at a store when a customer picked out a pair of shoes and then the electricity went out.
The sales ladies hunted around and pulled out one of those old CC machines and used it to record the sale and give the customer a receipt.

And to think the .gov wants everyone to go digital currency only. I been saying it for years that if you rely on a computer to run things it will collapse at some point and then where will everyone be.

I'd also think that such computer issues would mess up vehicles with driverless capabilities. Oh, and AI as well.
