Military “Guard” Positions

I’ve spent the past hour trying to look this up and have come up with bupkis so now I’ll ask the brain-trust here in OSA. 😉 In military formations there is a vanguard and rearguard……are there other “Guard” positions? Something like a flankguard??

Theres the Motorpool Guard. I did that once
