Yeah PMC Broze and Blazer Brass are superior. I really like Aguila (made in Mexico) and Geco (made is Switzerland). I've also had good results with Federal American Eagle
I have never had a problem in Monarch (brass at least) in 9mm, 380, 40, 45, 357, 38. I consider it one of the better plinking brands out there, though I prefer WalMart's Federal as it's a touch cheaper. Cleanliness means little to me so long as it is not corrosive.
So long as it it non-corrosive, works in your particular weapon, and compatible with your range's rules (i.e. not steel core), then why's it matter for casually punching paper?
