Superdave, if you can continue to promote shows of the quality of the one in Claremore, I'll keep coming. Yours is the first show that I've been to since the Wanenmacher last fall. The small shows from all the other 3 local promoters have been lacking in every way for some time. They can either learn to compete, or fall by the wayside. I think it's time for some new blood who is out to make a dollar or two promoting a GUN show. If they insist on putting on a flea market, let them go into business promoting flea markets. When these guys reached a point where they had to sell table space to whoever was selling whatever, they should have packed it in.

I'd second or third the security footage. You can't be held responsible for what other people do with the flyers you have available. They have to prove it came from you.

I'd also pull the code enforcement officer aside and explain to him what's been going on, and apologize if you can. I understand your point of view, and even agree with it for the most part. But the bigger man will admit that his reaction might have been colored by what's been going on.

Code enforcement officers working sat, sun, even after 5 on weekday?
They usually give one warning to correct the offence, especially if you havent offended in that area before.
I agree with ...you cant be held responsible for others pranks, but you still have to go back up there to contest it.

Thanks Jimmy, I can handle it, Claremore is a long way. I'll go to the J.M Davis Museum and make a day of it. Some of the t-shirt ideas make me chuckle.
