One can go to the county offices and get a plat map of the area printed out for a buck or two. Some counties even have it on line.

Yeah, it takes them awhile to update it when land changes hands.
It looks like they've finally caught up in Cleveland County. The last time I checked it showed the wrong owner name on my land, and it showed the ten behind me as being two fives owned by different people, although the same guy has owned that ten since the '80s, at least.dennishoddy said:Yeah, it takes them awhile to update it when land changes hands.
