Mosin pricing seems to be climbing. Allan's Armory has generally had pricing that is near the market but with a small premium for his time of inspecting and photographing the firearms. Say a local pawnshop gets in a crate of Mosins and sells them for ~$120. The dealer isn't out much trouble other than cracking open the crate. Allan inspects the rifle, reports his findings, photographs them, and places the info on his website for purchase. Common sense dictates that he might sell a rifle for $150 while others would ask less.
Anyhow, he has some Hex laminate Tulas on his site now averaging $275. Just a few months back we bought some very similar rifles from him for around $150. Is the writing on the wall for the Mosin or do you think he's getting in on the frenzy?
