Our system is broke. Her criminal record and police contact log is as thick as a Tulsa phone book. Family was already trying to get the kids out but the courts refused to pull the kids. Her being in possession of a controlled substance while pregnant should have revoked her probation and should have been on the inside with the kids in foster care.

I can't even begin to describe my feelings for this worthless sack. I think I will also write the Tulsa Whirled and let them know I'd appreciate it if they could use their journalism powers to find a different word to describe her than "mother" because she obviously is not.

Saw this in the paper this AM. That this was likely the result of some intense long-term drug use is no excuse as far as her responsibilty is concerned, but I had planned to make my 16 and 12 yr old read the article as an example of what these drugs can lead a "good" person to do what they would otherwise never believe possible.

Don't worry, she will be rehabilitated and brought back into society. After all, it's not HER fault. It's societies fault for allowing her to be the person she is.

This. What could possibly be the rationale for manslaughter vs. murder unless they really believe that the intent wasn't ther?. But who puts a baby in the washing machine without thinking to themselves "gee I really probably shouldn't do this....." The only thing I can think of is that they determined that the mother was so high out of her mind that she didn't realize what she was doing.

Whatever she's being charged with, its disgusting. The baby either drowned or was beaten to death by the washing machine. Throw the book at this shitstain.

This really makes me sick to my stomach, i hope that f-ing tweaker rots in prison. My gf actually went to school with her...just sad.
