Was Jimmy Carter's heart in the right place? I am not sure to this day. Only good I think he has done has been Habitat for Humanity, and I think that is a stretch. Why do we have a nuclear waste problem and few nuclear power plants... Jimmy Carter, signed into law the legislation which ended nuclear waste recycling, which is one if not the best way to deal with it in many ways. He stunted nuclear power, partially due to Three Mile Island. An unimpressive president, but biden and obama were way worse. Why was obama worse? He destroyed 40 years of improving race relations and the economy got worse on purpose, he new what he was doing. Carter was simply out of his depth.
Yep, I was young and dumb, YET knew Mr Peanut was a bad choice. A new Father and struggling to buy z house; 12% interest and balloon payments. A year later, looking at cars and discovered 22% financing.
Carter was a nuclear physicist. May have the only blessing of his Presidency, with Three Mile Island. But, Why in the .... wouldn't he continue with making nuclear safer and more expansion. What would our power grid look like today?
The hostages had been held in Iran over 400 days, were released the day before Reagan took office.
History will ATTEMPT to gloss over the failed term of Carter, but the fiasco can't be covered. Only outdone by bigger failures like Odumbo and **** Joe.
