I have noticed a lot of folks that buy 8 mags or more for a single weapon. I have always just went with 4ish and multiple rebuild kits. Can one of you folks that stack em deep share your thinking. I know everyone has there things that they do so just curious and I may learn something I have not thought of

Its nice to go to the range and shooting stuff that you prepped...like a dozen P226 mags instead of spending half the time there loading mags.

That one makes sense, although I do use my mag load time to think about what caused that flyer and where my form dropped . And generally speaking but not always I try and take a kiddo to shoot with so I get some of that slave labor!!

But your mag springs are so strong it makes your muscles strain and then you're shaking while trying to sight in. I always get an adrenaline rush when I'm shooting too, ahh the memories. I don't need any other stimulus.

I like to have at least 10 for each weapon. I like to load at home and not have to load at the range. Especially if I am shoot drills.

My weapons are all either carry or defensive. I like the fact that I can have a couple hundred rounds loaded in mags should I ever need it.

Lastly, after suffering through 10 years of slick Willie and not being able to have standard capacity mags, I like to have as many as I can afford. They also double as parts if needed when something is discontinued

It is faster cramming mags in, than to stop and have to load a mag.

Buy em cheap, stack em deep.

A recent post in steals and deals show that Pmags went up $10/mag.

I don't like having to reload mags at matches. I have a range bag specifically designed to hold two pistols and 12 mags, with a pocket for bogies. Glock 17 rounders are about all I stack deep on.
