Tulsa police now say a call about a possible shooting in midtown Tulsa was bogus.
Tulsa police were called to a home near 51st and Sheridan just after 8:30 on reports of a shooting. Officers surrounded the house to investigate the call.
Officers now tell FOX23 there was not a shooting at that location.

Just saw the false shooting report. Somebody must have it out for TPD - nasty weather and they had to rush down and stand outside in this crap. I hope they catch whoever did it (if it was malicious). If it was accidental, then that really sucks.
Wife says someone with mental illness made the call, so maybe not malicious. Either way... we'll prolly get the next gun control bill outta it, not any extra mental health funding.

Damn telephones! We should ban telephones! These deadly items in the wrong hands can kill people. Who knows if one of the Tulsa brave get pneumonia or even multiplies could get it. I don't even want to think what could happenn if the phone had speed dial....close call guys.
