Yes. He was born an Okie. His dad and my grandpa are brothers. He's a pretty darn good bass/guitar and harmonica player.

I have played guitar with him many times.
I am good friends and have done several fun gigs with guitarist Max Barnett and his wife Deborah and her daughter Sarah Dunn in Joplin, Willie the drummer from Baxter Springs, drummer who died a couple years ago, Adam drummer from Joplin, the NE Ok, SE Kansas, SW Missouri bunch of musicians are pretty awesome people to share a stage with.
