Hey EZ, did you ever get anywhere with bleaching out the black to go back with another color or is it impossible.

Well, I attempted it on the inside of some of my Kershaw and Spyderco G10 scales and it did nothing (light testing with Q-tip, some bleach and waiting various times to see - after 20 mins of having a driblit of bleach on it, no change in color). I asked a few questions and apparently, the recipe in the G10 makes some difference, but there's no real guide that I can find with all the different G10 makers out there.

Spyderco's G10 seems impervious and I want to say that the more Fiber / less resin you have the easier it is to dye, but I can't find anything substantial.

From the knives I've seen, the change is minimal at best - black to Dark Grey; Red to dark Pink, etc.
