Very nice!
Very cool, I love seeing boxed set, especially old black powder era guns. I have wanted a 22/32 kit gun in nickle or stainless but I’d shoot it so don’t know if boxes would be worth it. Saying that I don’t have any brothers that could be boxed as a set but I have several cousins that could be boxed up for show and tell. Now you got me thinking
There's a member of my Rifle & Pistol club,,,
He probably owns 50+ handguns,,,
All cased in felt lined wood.
All of the cases are the same size,,,
And all fit inside a large dedicated gun storage cabinet.
Apparently his son made the cabinet and the boxes,,,
All during one year of high school shop class.
When his van shows up at the range,,,
We (or at least I) swarm it to see what he brought this time.
The boxes aren't fancy at all,,,
But they are very well crafted from high-grade plywood.
I think the kid should market those boxes,,,
Perhaps he could make a bit of money.

.
That looks great good JOB!Being a bit (read severely) OCD,,,
I love pistols in a nice padded display case.
About a decade ago my best friend passed away,,,
When we went to the range she would always bring,,,
The Nickle plated S&W Model 34 her Father gave her at age 12.
According to the story she told,,,
Her Pop took her to a gun store and told her,,,
She could pick out any of the .22 pistols that were there.
On hearing the story for the first time,,,
I complimented her on her great choice in her gun.
I asked her why she chose that particular gun,,,
Her reply was, "It was shiny."
When she passed her Brother gave me the pistol as a memento.
I had always planned to put it in a case but never got around to it.
One of my favorite revolvers is my 3" S&W Model 34,,,
For sheer simplicity and utility I feel it's a hard pistol to beat.
So when a gentleman on this forum put a Nickle plated 3" Model 36 for sale,,,
I decided that his asking price of $399.00 was too good to pass up.
Mainly because along with my OCD driven love for cased handguns,,,
I also love to collect identical pistols (or near identical) in centerfire and rimfire.
I've been threatening to case this pair for a while now,,,
After several years of procrastination,,,
I finally did the deed.
I found this nice box at a thrift store for $2.00,,,
Add $4.00 of foam and $3.00 of red cloth,,,
I have cased these two lovely girls.
I have a new clasp with a hasp for a small padlock,,,
I just need to buy some screws small enough to mount it.
These pistols are so lovely,,,
I named them after the Fanning Sisters.
Ladies and Gentlemen,,,
Meet Elle, the Model 34,,,
And Dakota, the Model 36.
So, have I aroused anyone's jealousy?

P.S. Thrift stores are wonderful places to browse through,,,
This box sells at Hobby Lobby for over $40.00.
