I think it will last a while its got a schlack on it? or some kind of sealant it aint going away anytime soon. I am sure it will last another 22 years.

My BIL is an amateur film dipper. I told him he could "practice" on my 10/22 stock..If he screwed it up it would have given me a reason to buy a new one. I think it turned out better than I expected. It is pretty cool.
