Close, The Greatest American Hero. I remember watching that show as a kid - now I see it and think how cheesy it was. Like almost all 80s shows. lol

If you have seen the movie, it makes the theme song make more sense. A plot line involves the dentist, known as painless, (no dentist in TV show) who they stage a sucicide for because he feels he has "lost" his "love making" abilities. Thus the line in the song "suicide is painless"
