Some clips from the brilliant next door neighbor who played hoops with the shooter as kids. He seems to really be dialed in on the likely cause - gun culture influence.

'If I had to imagine, Audrey's parents are probably just as shocked as everybody in the neighborhood is…It just doesn't seem real,' he told The Daily Beast.

He added that, knowing the Hale family, it doesn't seem like Audrey would have ever even been influenced by gun culture.

'There's nothing that would have led me to believe that she was capable of such a thing or that she or anybody in that family would have access to, much less ever used, a gun.'

'They just don't seem like the family that, like, is around guns. They're not talking about going to a gun range or they're not going hunting.'

‘Hale identifying as transgender could point to motivation for the attack as Tennessee Governor Bill Lee (R) signed a bill banning transitioning medical services for children earlier this month. Puberty blockers, hormone treatments, and surgeries are not allowed to be given to children under the new law, according to the Tennesseean’.

The fact that we have to have a law to prevent medical professionals from doing this **** is a little difficult for me to get my head around, but here we are.

WTAF? People are nutz. I mean bat **** crazy. When these people get to hell, I hope they get a spot up close to the furnace and are given a metal handled scoop shovel.

Only just now to your post in this now 11 page thread, so this may have been addressed already, but video I saw this morning provides an answer. She shot out a set of double glass doors and kicked her way in.

There was an attempt at stopping the "normalization" of this behavior.

I have even been to the site of that event in Berlin where there is a memorial, A window in the pavement looking down on empty bookshelves for 20,000 books. The problem is that society as a whole doesn’t view gender confusion as a mental illness. From what I read, today’s shooter had never been in any kind of trouble before.
So what would’ve been a red flag here?

I’d start with gender confusion. That’s a mental illness. They are mentally defective. They ain’t wired right. These are broken people. Everyone of them. The world used to understand that. Sadly those times have passed.

From what I saw in the video and mentioned in another of the posted articles, it looked like the perp entered into the "church" part of the building. He/She/It walked right by a door with a sign over it referring to a "ministry," and the hallways the perp walked along appeared to be totally empty. So, I guess that those in the school part might have not even heard the shots fired to break out the windows of the doors.
