The Navy's P-8 is a 737 ASW mod.I've always wondered why Boeing didn't design their 737's with an 'exchangeable belly'......from passenger carry to bomber within a day or so. Doesn't seem like that would be hard to do.
? The P-8 is a modified 737 with Anti-Submarine Warfare capabilities. Most of our planes are based of something else. E-3 and E-6 are modded 707's. The 135 tanker is a 737.
Far cry from being able to just swap modules and switch from a passenger to a bomber.
Not disputing it being an impressive collection, but it sounds like those contracts for private air forces may be disappearing.
He can probably contract out to a country other than the US.

The -135 isn’t a 737. It’s a smaller cousin of the 707 design.
