Need old Glock 27 parts replaced, looking for armorer

I’ve been through the Armorers School four times. Each certification is good for three years. As already been said, the Glock is VERY simple. It’s not like a 1911 where the parts have to be hand fitted and polished. The Glock is designed so that if anything breaks or wears out, all you have to do is take the part out and replace it. A complete disassembly to the smallest part should take about two-three minutes if you take your time. ANYONE can do it.

If you’re carrying it as a backup, there are several sources on the internet for factory parts that will keep your pistol within factory specs.

If I were close by, I’d meet with you and check it out. What are you wanting to fix or replace? I may have some extra parts on hand or I can point you to where you can get them on the internet. In most cases, shipping charges cost more than the parts. PM if you’d like.

I appreciate it. I will google everything. Also, what is the best tool for me to change out my Glock sights with. I know they make a lot and want one that works well. I have numerous sights to change out and if I do it myself I’ll save a ton in the long run by just buying the tool.

If you have the old crimped front sights, you’ll need the Glock front sight tool. The newer Glocks have front sights that are held by a very small nut. I use a socket like tool that came with a set of sights I bought. For the rear sights I put the slide in padded jaws on a vice and use a small wooden dowel and a small hammer. Usually it only take a few light taps to punch the sights out of the groove.

Mad Professor has a sight tool you might like. IIRC it can be used on several different brands of pistols.

I have a Glock sight tool (press). You are welcome to load up all your Glocks and bring them over and use it to change them out. And bring any parts you want to install. I can do it while you wait or let you do it with guidance.
