Need some plumbing advice...

Kind of related, I see too many folks that think all food waste goes into the disposer. That is a problem looking to happen. Scrape the food waste into the trash, or compost it if applicable. Use the disposer for the small stuff that is rinsed off. I've seen someone send a bucket of potato peelings down a disposer. Took 10 times longer than putting it in the trash.

A year or two back my wife found an article about things not to put in the garbage disposal. They had 10 categories of things not to put in it. Bottom line a stupid article, according to it you cannot use the garbage disposal for anything, and it was a serious article.

Ya im gunna go with a clogged drain. If i were gonna spend money I would rent a decent snake with a large bit and run it down that 3inch pipe from under the sink through that clean out with the hot water running. I would not spend the time or a hundred dollars on a " Magic" vent ( brand name at locke supply for there air induction valve) and fittings after 30 years of not needing one . If you really want to know hire a plumber with a video system. Good luck.
