Never gets easier…

Lost my 13.5 year old Mini Schnauzer at 8 this morning. At 66 you would think that it would not be so hard to bear the loss.

2016 road trip dog to Colorado. She loved to go.

Doesn’t matter how old you are - when you lose a beloved dog, it hurts regardless. Been there more times than I care to count. My condolences.

I've been divorced twice. It hurt more to have my 12yr old black lab put down.

Sorry for your loss, I’ve only had one dog in my life I had to put him down a few years ago sure I swore to never get another because it hurts too bad to lose them.

I did exactly this 20 years ago, and I went nine years without before I inherited my dad’s three Labs. Since then, I have or have had ten dogs, and my only regret is that I went so long without a dog. The pain is awful when it’s their time, but the years before then more than make up for it!

I’m so sorry for your loss. In my opinion, it’s not folks that grieve over the loss of a pet that have a problem, but it’s the ones that don’t.
