Crap! For the price of a new car I could pay off our house and have money left over!
My wife keeps saving up for wonderful yet stupid vacations.. I understand why, but I told her last night that we need to save the same money to upgrade what I want in the house ...

I had a new one in 1978. I liked it. 351 Modified engine. I added headers, mags and off road tires. Other than that, it was stock. Four on the floor and you had to get out and manually lock in the 4X4 hubs. I sold it in the mid 80s and always wished I had kept it. Hindsight, and all.
You should have kept it lol.

Friend of mine saw those but didn't really like. So he went out and found a real clean 70's model and dropped $50k on having it rebuilt ground up.
It will never be a replacement for my two 66' and 71'. I suppose everyone does have their selling price though.

I hate these with a passion. Although I suspect my hate is largely based on my inability to buy one, that they are selling way over sticker, and that people are buying them way over sticker
