That's pretty standard for an auction. You just gotta keep it in mind when you're bidding. I've got some good deals in these online auctions!

Can you help me understand the “buyer’s premium”? Does this mean that the current owner, aka seller keep all the proceeds form the sell w/ the exception of the buyer’s premium, or does the action company still take a commission and get the buyer’s premium?

Seller keeps about 90% of the proceeds. Auction company keeps BP and a small commission. You should see all the work that goes into hosting an online firearm auction. It's a big undertaking, to say the least.
