Exactly. That's pretty standard for online auctions. Keep that in mind when you're bidding. Know what you're willing to pay and give it a try. I've gotten some incredible deals in online auctions.Your winning bid plus 24.5%.
YesShouldn’t this be over in the vendors section considering it’s going through a company that receives a profit from the sale, requires 4473, and isn’t a person to person sale?
I may be incorrect but I believe it means that if you bid $1000 and win you pay $1000 + 15% + 9.5% for Kevin, so on $1000 gun you pay right at $1250. Remember that when you bid.. Then theres the shipping and FFL if shipped. Can you help me understand the “buyer’s premium”? Does this mean that the current owner, aka seller keep all the proceeds form the sell w/ the exception of the buyer’s premium, or does the action company still take a commission and get the buyer’s premium?
I understand what the buyer pays, just trying to figure out why the extra “buyer’s premium”. I mean, if the auction company is all ready getting a commission, then?I may be incorrect but I believe it means that if you bid $1000 and win you pay $1000 + 15% + 9.5% for Kevin, so on $1000 gun you pay right at $1250.
