When the kids are around the pistol of the evening is stuck under a pillow. When it is just me it has it's own half of the bed. Here lately the pistol of the evening has been my 1851 Colt Navy conversion in 38 SPL. It is cheaper and contains less drama than a female companion. ;-)

Naked in a gunvault under the bed with an extra mag and extra flashlight in the gunvault also. BTW I opent he gunvault every night before I go to bed and close it every morning when I wake up, I just made this a part of my daily routine. The safe is just there to keep the little one safe from daddys home invader ventilatior.

Right now and for a long time Naked with the Surefire and the cell phone. My youngest is 17. I also keep 1 holstered in the sock drawer for when I am not there. When the granddaughter arives I will adjust to suit.
