At the time it was mostly people who listened to Ska, Phish or pop, it was nice to have a few people who knew who Trace Adkins, George Straight, Brooks n Dunn, etc were. A few of them even knew what fried okra was! (Hilarious story about okra, they served it for dinner once my freshman year at West Point. My duty at the table that night was to announce how much was left. Since hardly anyone at my table knew what fried okra was, I was the only person who took some. One of the upperclassmen asked "Adams, what the hell is fried okra". I had to try and equate it to something, the discussion didn't go well lol)
