No longer available - will try to fix - lee 10# bottom pour lead pot, not working

I picked up a Lee 10# pot as part of a group buy. the guy did not separate out the zinc wheel weights and cranked the temp up until he melted a hole thru the wall of the pot. the valve rod has the tip broken off I believe. some of the insulation is chipped off the heating element. It did work to melt out all the contaminated lead. free to anyone that can pick it up in the Bixby area.

maybe some one could weld up the hole in the side and the bottom pour and use it as a ladle pot. does have a good temp control.

Use to be you could buy replacement parts for those. Might check the Lee Precision website.

replacement parts are pot around $20 and valve rod $10 and then maybe the heating element at $20 and shipping and tax. If it was a 20# pot, I would probably fix it.

Wow post-Covid prices for sure.

I probably didn’t spend $10 total on the parts for my two #10ers.
