Keep an eye on americanreloading.com. Selection is not huge, but you can get great deals on brass and pulled bullets. As to press, a single stage is a great starter press. If you plan to load pistol ammo, my typical rec for a starter press is the Lee Classic Turret. You can use it as a single stage, but the auto index speeds up the pistol loading process.

Brass, keep looking. Several here sell brass. Starline is preferred for new.

I was taught on a RCBS Rock Chucker in 1975. I bought a Rock Chucker and used it for 40 years. Bought a Dillon 4 years ago. 99% of loading is still done on the Rock Chucker. Rifle cartridges and Rock Chucker are like bread and butter.

1. Where are some good places to buy brass. Unfortunately one of the cases I need is 6.5 prc

2. Any reason I should not start with a simple single stage press?

THanks!
single stage is great , dongs in tulsa has 6.5 prc brass, aslo loaded 143 Hornady at 54.00 you can shoot and reload , have you tried berger 130s in your 6.5 prc, (excellent whitetail load
