Does anyone have an idea of how many students this would actually apply to? Most schools require proof of residency within the district to allow enrollment. If the kids live in the district that would imply that some type of taxes are paid to support their attendance to a local school right?
Address and water bill

To have the data could be valuable. From the state's perspective, It seems like a legitimate request that the federal gov pays all the costs for educating a child that's here because of illegal parents. At least when the fed is the one that encouraged and allowed the illegals to come here.

Fed "pays" nothing for incompetence, stupidity or legitimate actions. I would support a balanced budget amendment AND the cost of being over budget or educating illegals coming from congressional salaries.

I wouldn't claim State or Fed as being more frugal or competent than the other.
