Broke the thread jinx. We did good Saturday morning. I killed a lil 4 point yearling. Soon as I shot I seen a much bigger buck....think it's the one my nephew killed in picture. Then my cousin shot the doe. So 3 deer by 930am....got em quartered and in freezer.

My lil .40 made a perfect double lung shot, ran bout 30 yards n crashed. Didn't get a pass through but found the flattened ball just under skin on off side.Thatll make a cool souvenir. Might make a gun rack with his lil antlers.

Well yesterday evening had 3 does come out on us Valerie was with me. Let her take a bead on one with my dads inline mk-85....swing and a miss better luck next time.

Also got to see 6 Eagles today they landed on our field while helping dad cut beans.
