Done that too... 9mm in .45 is a bear. You can mix things like .243, 7mm-08, and .45 though, and .38/.357 and 9mm can be tumbled together also.

My ex ask if I could tumble some pennies for her once, well I put them in while mowing the yard got done put up the mower and went in the house, the next day went to work got home and off to the lake for the weekend, got back home and a few days later needed to mow again and wow what did I find but a tumbler that had been running for 6 days and some pennies that didn't look like pennies they were round but had taken on this silver look oh well those good ol' Lyman tumbler! oh for the record the ex never ask me to tumble stupid stuff for her again Later,
