The White House is using the official, taxpayer funded website to push the gun control agenda. No news there, but right now they are pimping a social media effort using the hash-tag #NowIsTheTime and encouraging supporters to tweet using that tag and create a trend.

Many pro-gun folks are taking it over and stealing the trend...#NowIsTheTime to have serious discussions about mental health, not pass new gun laws. #NowIsTheTime for @BarackObama to stop painting himself with the blood of children to push a partisan political agenda etc....

If you use Twitter, you'll know what I'm talking about.
