This. Just tonight the apparently know-nothing guy at the Wal-Mart I went to looking for ammo struck up a conversation about why he was low on ammo so much. "It's because people know about the ammo tax that Obama's gonna create".
Except that he hasn't, hasn't proposed one and the only thing I've ever heard about that (on top of the already 11 percent excise tax -- that BTW was backed by the NRA) is a proposal in Cook County IL (Chicago) to put an ammo tax in place, which was quickly retracted back in October.
