The wealthy go in, buy up stock or sell stock in huge amounts and it does affect the market. The Smith brothers did it around 1979 or so in silver and manipulated the market for awhile, silver prices soared. Soros could do it by proxy and wipe out some stocks. I'm too well-versed in the stock market but things happen.

I think some of the correction is also due to old Comrade Bernie winning the Nevada Caucus. Wall Street is not to keen on the prospect of a full blown Socialist running the country.

I had to go do blood labs at the local hospital the other day. The registrar asked me why my dr ordered blood labs. I couldn't resist and told her I hadn't felt good since coming home from Hong Kong. The look on her face was priceless, which soon evolved into begrudged disgust for my sense of humor.
