It's accurate, just not all covid cases though. My wife said enid hospitals taking transfers from OKC and Tulsa. It's usually the other way around.

The news just likes to give the ICU bed availability during the covid update....leading folks to believe they're full of covid patients.

Last month there were articles stating hospitals were having to lay off staff. What a cluster ... I'd go dig around for the link but ... Ehhhh ... I'm being lazy today.

Working on discharge today, just waiting on doctor to show up and sign off. I'll be on home oxygen for the next few weeks, will be back to work after that. I'm ready to get outta here.

That's got to be true. Each time my wife walks in to work, another co-worker tests positive on her unit. Everyone pretty much feels like they should just go ahead and get it before flu season gets really nasty. Couple that with a lot of traumas here in Tulsa, and ICUs are stressed.
