It's been many years, but such a sight still makes my b*tt sore.

Ha! As a kid, there were often not enough saddles to go around.

I was the baby of the family, so guess who got to ride a sweaty horse all day bareback...

Wasn't near so much fun as it sounds.

Once when I was 15 years old I rode a horse bare back for several miles a day for about a week. It took a while for me to walk normal again.

After a full day, there was so much salt in my jeans that I probably could have stood 'em in a corner.
