Here my daughter trying to steal my truck from her daycare parking lot:

Here's her perversely-titled comic book that came in her Chick Fila kid's meal:

Here's my setup at the tequila tasting event that was held at Remington Park a month or so ago (the drink in the middle is a cilantro margarita (very tasty)):

The lucky owner is my dad. Haha. Those wheels are on there so it can be a roller for now; I don't think they'll stay. Most likely will go back to the steel wheels with poverty hubcaps, which has always been my favorite for those cars.

It's supposed to be a pseudo-A990 clone, however, he's gone further than that. When it's done it will have an all aluminum hemi in it. The aluminum block and 4-speed a sitting on the shop floor in fact.

My dad is old-school when it comes to this stuff. He literally does everything except the interior. He builds all the drivetrain, does the bodywork, and paints them. He always says he had to learn to do it all growing up because he had no money.

He's had a rough time with health lately, so I'll probably grab the block this weekend when I'm up in OK and bring back with me to Austin to build it.

Here's the 4Sevens Quark 123² I got for Christmas on the right, along with my trusty Olight in the middle and an Ultrafire P60 host with a UV drop-in on the left.

[Broken External Image]

It was a great looking light and I absolutely loved it, especially the buttery smooth beam profile and the ultra-low moonlight mode.

However, when I picked it out as a gift I did so with the understanding that it was current regulated, and didn't use PWM to achieve the lower modes. Too bad it blinked something fierce on the three lowest modes...

Moonlight on the left, then low, then medium.

I can't so much as sit under fluorescent lighting for a bit before I start to get a headache, much less use a flashlight that blinks really fast.

I sent it back and got the newer generation Quark 123² Turbo and a warm white Quark 123² Tactical. I let you know how those are when I get them.
