How do you guys get all that stuff in a pocket?
How do you guys get all that stuff in a pocket?
I consider my waistband as much a part of britches as a pocket, and stuff large objects under waistband, never holstered, and sheaths rarely hung on belts (numerous loopless sheaths made for assorted knives and many work with several different knives), plus once cool weather hits, I have field jacket pockets whose loss I mourn every Spring, and shirts untucked in warmer weather. How do you guys get all that stuff in a pocket?

Not buying it You're not putting that kind of crap in your pocket. You're just showing off.Won't bore you with details, but in 1983 a couple of days before Thanksgiving a guy tried to mug me with a stiletto, but I was carrying my 1976 Blackhawk .45. You can see how that turned out and I try to carry them both about that time each year.View attachment 531999
You are entirely correct and why this sucker gets carried only annually mex if I remember even that, as both gun and knife combine to make something as confining and uncomfy as your girldle with stays....one nice thing about mex carry is no extra bulk, the other is about zero finish wear from embedded holster dust, my pants and underwear washed weekly whether they need it or not, and that's even if I bother with underwear. Not buying it You're not putting that kind of crap in your pocket. The military field jackets were the original load bearing vest as far as I am concerned, they also handle 20-25oz firearms in a pinch. A 1911 will physically fit a pocket, but too rough on pocket for regular use, but fine in a pinch. That was one thing my grandson said about his M65 was the vast amounts of pocket space.
Thanks again ol'buddy.
