If I had a fenced in yard I'm sure I would have a few. As it is I would have to have an inside dog that would be okay in a small house.

I keep a lookout for the near perfect dog (for me) but I haven't found the right one yet.
Funny you say that because I was getting quotes for a new fence all last week. Big spread from company to company. Quotes from $6,500.00 to $12,000.00 for the chain link fence I want.

One of those days.

Somebody dumped 7-10 dogs out near me on a state highway. Not real sure how many as they scattered when my dogs chased them off. I counted at least 5 or 6 running off into the field next door. Two more were hit by cars on the highway, I took care of getting them off of the pavement so they didn’t become smear marks.

What kind of person does that? They’ll be coyote bait. Take them to the pound or some rescue.
My wife runs a rescue, we see this every day. All rescues are inundated and can’t take any more animals. No kill shelters are all on intake hold, other shelters are immediately euthanizing owner surrenders. I guess people who dump dogs tell themselves they are giving the dogs a chance. In reality they almost always consign the animals to painful deaths. The only way this cycle will stop is if people take responsibility and have their animals sterilized. I’ve come to the conclusion most people are too stupid to figure that out.

Yeah we tried to contact the shelters with this last dog. All we're full and not accepting any dogs.
We decided to just keep the girl.

In your momma’s bedroom.

Pretty well sums up way too many and I agree.

We currently have two, both neutered.

One is a Pit from the pound, she owns me and I thought she was going to be our only.

But as fate would have it we rescued a puppy from a crack house who was severely abused. Challenging is an incredible understatement but he’s stolen our hearts also.
