OK State House Passes Expansion of Right to Bear Arms

Want to know what "to serve a compelling state interest" means? Go read any communist/Fascist/Marxist/socialist/oligarchic manifesto. All of those require dictatorial rule and that is the only scenario in which a compelling state interest could be used to supersede the rights of free men. This poke has more than a pig in it, too. It is a power grab wrapped in a box of fluffy, sweet-sounding nothingness.

All the "expansion of our rights" in this resolution are rendered moot with the adoption of any measure attributable to any so-called compelling state interest if this resolution becomes law.

Its a systematic effort to defy Washington DC. In hopes of letting Oklahomans know that they are in a pro gun, pro gun accessory, anti regulation of braces (to the complaint of those who dislike the term common item) and any other silliness imposed by the feds. For every state that passes legislation that is pro gun OR proposes legislation to loosen the regulation of firearms, other states leadership take notes as to how the federal govt responds, whether it agrees or argues against. This allows people to seek fallacies on both sides so they (the pro gun states leadership) may continue to draft and propose pro gun legislation that will corner the anti gunners in government and make them look like fools. But its slow, a very slow and painful process. Why you ask? Because we dont just hang people and throw Tea Parties anymore.

The only compelling interest is that of We the People to keep government under our thumbs lest government take our rights and freedoms from us to serve dictators, tyrants, and despots.

Makes me wonder what those in government are up to, or are about to be up to, that requires our right to keep and bear arms to be diminished or to likely be completely abolished. Whether this resolution is meant to infringe upon our RKBA by design or out of ignorance, the end result is the same and all those involved in its passage will be guilty of treason in my reasoning - to include any who will vote for it if it makes it to a vote of the people.

People have to be morally sound for voting to have value. All the laws in the world wont save the USA if the humans occupying it hate that which is good and love what is evil!
