I know some people are touchy-feely and it's just their nature, but I knew a salesman that clapped a stranger on the shoulder as a greeting and the guy had something already seriously wrong with his shoulder at it did not go over well at all. Needless to say he didn't make a sale.
Yes. I've also known some back slappers. They slap your back and you gotta slap there's a little harder. Soon you're locked in a back slapping match and you have to see it through.

Yep, I have guy friends all the time come up behind me at the pool hall or tavern and grab me. It only happens once. I tell em, do not ever put your hands on me by surprise.

That cop needs at a minimum time off without pay, and remedial training. I am not disillusioned that the cop has his quotas and needs to get back out on the beat to make the department some money. The cop was impatient from the beginning, and while the old man was in the personal space there is no way he felt threatened. Shame on that police officer.
